I’ve recently started using Clipix to collect and group content for inspiration and upcoming blog posts. The service offers users the ability to create online clipboards to virtually clip content for inspiration, collaboration, later viewing etc. Here’s an example of my Fashion Clipboard:
The list of ways to use clipix is literally endless, for example: You could use clipix to make a shopping list of things you wish to buy. You could clip your favorite recipes together in one place. Clip gift ideas, vacation ideas, party planning, books you want to read, movies you want to see, etc.
You can create as many customized clipboards as you like, arrange them in any order of your choosing, reclip others ciips, comment on clips, share them to social networks, and even collaborate with friends and family using Syncboards.
Clipping new stuff is really easy. All you need to do is add the “clip” button to your browser’s bookmarks bar and when you find something you want to clip, simply click the clip link – a clip panel will open and you’ll be able to choose which picture to clip, choose which clipboard to clip it to, and add some notes. You can also create new clipboards from within the clip panel if you want to save something that requires a whole new category. There’s even an iPhone app so that you can take all your clipboards with you and add new clips on the go by taking photos of things you see.
Go on, get clipping… Sign up here: clipix
