I’m generally a nice person and once upon a time I even had myself convinced that I would never get involved with any major drama nor would I have ever considered posting about such drama on my blog. But, this shit has being going on for far too long and I would like to play my part in society by warning you, my dear readers against a certain Second Life resident named Vic Zuzu (Also referred to as “Troll Boy” or “Mr. Troll Face” by the majority of the Second Life community and a regular subject of discussion due to his demeaning articles, affectively granting him celebrity status).
Vic Zuzu reminds me a lot of Perez Hilton when he just started out although Vic is a lot meaner with a lot less regard to fellow residents due to the anonymity that Second Life provides. The story goes way back to the first time Vic was turned down by a respectable content creator for his request to do modeling work. But, I only received the first glimpse of his unacceptable behavior when he affectively stole one of Second Life’s most respected male fashion groups; Make Him Over. He did it with such haste and precision that many people to this very day still believe that Make Him Over II is the real deal and that Vic Zuzu is indeed organizing his 6th virtual male fashion hunt when in actual fact it is only his second since he hi-jacked the group. I must give him credit for being such a sneaky thief and for actually getting away with it for this long but, his days are numbered! The only reason why he still has a tiny bit of ground to stand on is because the original founders of the Make Him Over Hunt have not yet resurrected their brand since the opening of the MENstuff group. Rumor has it that the official Make Him Over hunt might return in which case Vic Zuzu would finally be where he belongs, nowhere. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against Vic Zuzu organizing a fashion hunt but stealing one and claiming to be its founder and/or successor is absolutely unacceptable.
At first I didn’t want to publish anything related to Vic Zuzu in fear of him also belittling my name on his blog but, fortunately by now I know that no respectable individual that I would like to be associated with ever takes any of his writing seriously. We all know that Vic is there for one purpose and one purpose only: To break down others because he is incapable of handling rejection or doing the wonderful things they do. While his writing may not be taken seriously it is still very offensive and hurtful to those involved. Vic Zuzu have insulted many great artists and content creators but he pulled the last straw when he published an article belittling one of Second Life’s most iconic male models; Gabe Bookmite, who happens to be the partner of a respected friend. I thought that Vic Zuzu would have given up after the majority of residents learnt the truth about Make Him Over but it seems like many (including Linden Lab) are still in the dark. Vic Zuzu is clearly still living with a lot of anger from being rejected by many respectable fashion agencies and designers. Instead of appreciating them or providing constructive reviews he simply insults, bashes, belittles and disrespects. Someone seriously need to teach this guy how to properly handle rejection because the way in which he is currently handling it is neither classy nor acceptable.
If this is the first time that you hear of Vic Zuzu, do some research and you will soon find his hateful site. I’m not going to place a link to it here because I refuse to give him “Link Love” which would increase the page-rank and search popularity for his website. If you feel as strongly about this situation as I do then I ask of you to please remove any links you have to his website, instead link his name to a wikipedia description of an appropriate term explaining Vic Zuzu (as I have done in the first paragraph above).
PLAN OF ACTION:
Most of us (if not all) would like to get rid of Vic Zuzu. Unfortunately there is no way to cure a virus, we can only treat the symptoms. Here are a few suggestions:
- After doing your research and finding the facts, warn all friends and content creators to avoid interacting with this guy. Share your findings, It is for their own good.
- If you are the webmaster of any blog or directory, remove any links you have to Vic Zuzu’s website. Sure you can mention him by name when telling others about his hateful bashing but linking to his website will only increase his chances of actually making an impact. REMOVE THOSE LINKS!
- Ban Vic Zuzu from all estates in Second Life. If you have land access control please do the right thing, stop Vic Zuzu’s hateful rampage on innocent residents and respected content creators by adding this monster to your ban-list (Estate ban if possible).
- Send an abuse report and formal complaint to Linden Lab in support of those who Vic Zuzu has copied, bashed, insulted, belittled or disrespected. Power in numbers will cause the Lab to take action against this hateful basher. He could easily return with another account but at least getting Vic Zuzu out of the picture would slow him down a little.
Second Life is supposed to be a place which dreams are made of; a place where happy folk live and share creative ideas and talents. Vic Zuzu is trying to ruin this for many of us due to his inability to handle rejection. I feel very sorry for him because I know how badly it sucks to be rejected, I just wish that Vic Zuzu would accept it and move on. Instead of going on a hateful rampage he could work harder towards reaching his goals and being accepted into leading institutions, or even create his own original idea instead of copying others and belittling their work in the process.
