I really didn’t get much sleep this weekend. Due to my being determined to finish rebuilding my store and completing at least one full outfit for my new Second Life clothing line (Coming soon – Watch this space). I have been awake for, well… Almost the entire weekend with very little sleep, if any at all.

I managed to pull myself away from the computer for a while to get a couple of hours sleep, and even though I ended up sleeping well into Monday, those few hours simply weren’t enough, but I had to get up to take care of a few responsibilities. As usual I got up, had some coffee, logged into Second Life, read my emails and group notices. I skipped my daily workout routine because I’m simply too exhausted to even lift myself out of my chair today, so doing a full body workout is simply not going to happen today. Instead of working out I went straight to bath. My bath was so relaxing and put my right back in the super sleepy mode, I just wanted to get right back into bed and continue sleeping but I couldn’t.

When I got out of the bath I noticed that I haven’t viewed all the group notices that I had missed while I was logged out of Second Life and decided to quickly skim through them to see if I have missed anything important. As it turns out, one of the new Second Life magazines is looking to hire some more writers. I instantly jumped at the opportunity because, as you know, I love writing and I love Second Life. This is the perfect opportunity to combine both passions. After a quick IM interview and completing an application I got accepted into the Magazine and I am now officially a writer for ‘Radar,’ with my first article due in the next issue of the virtual magazine. I am really excited about this opportunity because I will now be able to share my work, thoughts, opinions and reviews with thousands of other Second Life residents. And who knows, perhaps I can even convince some of you guys to finally join me in Second Life once you see the awesomeness that awaits you. I’ll be sure to post a link to the online publication for each Magazine which contains one of my articles so Watch this space!

I strongly believe that this is directly related to my Second Life plans, adventures, and recent achievements. My family has never really understood the wonderful virtual world of Second Life and have always seen it as many of you do; nothing but a online MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game). But let me tell you, it’s no game my dear friends, if you think it’s a game them I am sorry but you are seriously misjudging what you are dealing with here.

The sun is rising in South Africa and I am still exhausted from my lack of sleep over the weekend. I’m going to get some much needed rest in order to resume my average 9-5 (PDT/PST) routine as from tomorrow. Have a good night/day.
