“The Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2012 women’s collection is inspired by the preppy sporting life reconsidered with city sophistication. She is as much at ease at the hunt club as she is on Park Avenue. Championing classic looks with a modern spirit, versatility is key with A-line, mod shapes in rich colors and fabrics.”
“The coat becomes her ultimate fall go-to, inspiring dresses, suiting and cocktail wear. Iconic shapes such as the pea coat and trench coat are renewed in printed shearling, bonded leather and Melton wool with a nod to a 60s military influence. Glen plaid and houndstooth are given a twist in unexpected scales and youthful silhouettes, while quilted suede offers a luxurious new take on the hunting suit. Menswear patterns are reinterpreted in silk dresses with riding and cable knit prints and pleated backs. Heritage colors- Burgundy, Midnight Navy and Caramel- carry throughout, as do penny loafer inspired riding boots. Evening is grounded in classic silhouettes redone with tuxedo and metallic details. All in, it is a collection made for the woman who moves seamlessly between town and country.”
Gorgeous dresses, fabulous jewels and footwear, shiny bags and sexy black numbers from Dolce & Gabbana Woman Summer 2012 Collection. Watch the full fashion show here:
“Tomatoes, aubergine, hot pepper prints brighten up the classic sheath dresses. Clothes are made in organza or cotton, mixed with crochet. Bags and shoes are made of intertwined plastic that recalls the chairs of the bars in the small towns of South Italy. Black brocade dresses with embroideries made of multi-coloured crystals on lace dresses. What about the colours? pastel such as light blue, peach, beige. ”
I love the shiny bags and bodysuits embroidered with glittering stones! My final thoughts? WOW!!! Best show of Milan Fashion Week!

I don’t generally cover woman’s fashion but for this label I’ll make an exception. Real world fashion designer MEILING has recently crossed the line into Second Life™
Just moments ago I witnessed the spectacular fashion show put together by Boulevard Agency and the Best of SL Organization where Meiling presented her virtual fashion line. Congratulations to the entire team who worked hard on this production. The fashion show was absolutely amazing, unlike anything that I have ever experienced in Second Life™
Unfortunately due to some connection issues I was unable to get a proper view of the entire line, only managing to snap a few distorted images before the models returned backstage. I did however pop into the store after the show to snap some higher quality images. It was also a great honor to meet Meiling herself!
