I have been using Google and Yahoo sponsored search for quite some time to advertise my blog. Various sources stated that Yahoo will be partnering with Microsoft to make use of the Bing search engine for all the search queries and online advertising. I knew that this change was going to come sooner or later but I was hoping for later since I’m not such a big fan of Microsoft.
The time has come. When I logged in to my Yahoo Sponsored Search account this morning I was greeted with the following page:

The fact that ads will now run on Bing and Yahoo Search (which is now one and the same) is quite comforting. This allows me to tap into the Microsoft market without actually having to make extra effort to do so. My company also had an agreement with Yahoo to provide all our clients with free Yahoo ad credit. This agreement will be carried over to Bing and the new adCenter. If you want $50 free ad credit for Yahoo/Bing sponsored search, host your website with Vervean Media. Click here to view our unlimited web hosting plans from only $15.99 per month.
As many of you know, I am not a big fan of the Microsoft operating system but this is just my personal opinion. In business the large majority of users make use of Microsoft Windows, and with Internet Explorer being the most popular web browser amongst Windows users with Bing as the default search engine there will be an enormous amount of potential with this new & Microsoft Search A partnership. This will allow mw to reach more people with my personal adverts and provide great benefit to the Vervean Media hosting customers whom are making use of their free ad credit.
After Microsoft adCenter crashed my Safari web browser a couple of times, then waiting centuries for the migration page to load and the process to complete I finally had my very own Microsoft adCenter account. Here is a quick peak of what things look like inside the Microsoft adCenter:

Yes that’s right, a blank page. After waiting for about 10 minutes for the page to load Safari crashed, then I came back and tried to sign in again waiting for 5 minutes and decided to give up. My guess is that the Microsoft adCenter does not play well with Safari. Perhaps it will work better when I try to log in from Firefox. I will give it a try with a different browser a bit later on and publish a new post with my Microsoft adCenter experience.
