What are your thoughts on Safari prints? Most people either love them or hate them.

You don’t see that many guys clamoring to wear safari – unless of course they are going on one, but one fashion label thinks that over the next few months, the high street will be crammed with men wearing leopard print shirts or animal prints.

This is according to Daniel and Lade – a global fashion designer. Daniel and Lade have a pretty unusual backstory themselves as it happens. Essentially, they work by providing bespoke suits for their clients, from all over the world.

Despite being a relatively new player on the field, they seem to have a pretty large following, and I notice from their website that they write a lot of blogs and articles, so they are obviously big self promoters.

Their claim to fame is their recent work with Hollywood actor David Ajala who played a bounty hunter in the Dark Knight. So I guess when it comes to predicting future trends, they may have a pretty good idea of what will stick and what won’t.

I’m yet to be convinced by the safari prints, but I do note with distress that a lot of guys on the high street seem to be wearing it. I guess maybe it isn’t such a crazy idea after all.

The prediction seems to be a way of promoting their “summertime bonanza” a fancy word for the discounts they are offering to clients over the next few months. Guys that do want to spend a little bit more money on individual clothing that doesn’t imitate someone else, are likely to be persuaded by their discounts in which they are reducing some of their suits and shirts by as much as £500.

In any case, it will be interesting to see how their predictions play out over the long-term.
