Now that I’m over my Netflix binge, I’m once again productively working towards my goals. In an attempt to get my shit together, and to form some healthy habits, I’ve started using the Momentum habit tracking productivity app that was featured on the Mac App Store this week.

I’ve tried many habit tracking apps in the past but in most cases, the interface made habit tracking feel like an annoying chore. Momentum changes that by delivering the best habit tracking interface yet. Check it out…

I love this interface because of the feeling of accomplishment that comes from turning the squares green. Every time I complete a listed task that I want to turn into a habit, I touch the day’s square, and the square turns green. The goal is to turn the whole week green, and to keep doing it until the tasks on the list have become healthy habits. This is also a great way to keep track of habit-related New Years Resolutions.

The app is available for Apple OS X, iOS, and Watch OS with iCloud sync (provided that you upgrade to the full version via an affordable in-app purchase). I fucking love this habit tracking app, and I’ve got a feeling that I’ll be using it for a long time to come.
