I’m quite obsessed with video games and virtual worlds (Second Life, specifically), but I know that some of you have no interest in it, and you may not want to read about it when you’re here reading my personal blog. So, in order to keep things organized and to separate real from virtual, I’ve created a separate blog for my Second Life.

If you only want to read about what I get up to in real life, you can continue doing so here on my official website and personal blog.

If you’re a fellow Second Life resident and/or would like to read about what I get up to in the virtual world, you can now do so on a separate blog dedicated to my Second Life that contains only Second Life related news, insights, and inspirations.

My Second Life Blog can be found at insl.davidventer.net and has its own dedicated RSS feed featuring only Second Life related posts.

I will no longer be posting anything Second Life related here on my personal blog, and I will also no longer share links to Second Life related posts on my Real Life social media, WhatsApp, and Telegram Channels. Instead, I’ll only share links to my Second LIfe related posts to my Second Life Profile Feed, my Primfeed, and in my Second Life group.

Some existing Second Life related posts have been removed and some have been copied over to insl.davidventer.net. At the time of writing, there aren’t many posts there yet but my plan is to share more Second Life related content in the future. Having the separate blog dedicated to Second Life will also make things less confusing when posting about virtual events, locations, etc.

In all honesty, I’ve been meaning to write more about my Second Life explorations and share more Second Life related news, insights & inspirations but I’ve always felt like it would be strange to mix that with my real life content and be of no use to those of you who aren’t active in Second LIfe so I haven’t been posting as much as I would like to.

Now that I’ve separated my Real Life and Second LIfe blogs, maybe I’ll be more inclined to share more Second Life related things and stuff. Or maybe my ADHD will get the better of me and I will end up neglecting that blog too? Who knows? We shall see…
